Greetings! I’m Stella, a passionate graphic designer and self-taught painter who loves creating acrylic paintings in black and white. There’s something magical about the simplicity and depth of black and white. It’s not just a color choice for me; it’s a deliberate artistic decision to strip away distractions and let the emotions speak for themselves. Through my acrylic paintings, I explore the intricate dance between light and shadow, using these monochromatic hues to tell stories that resonate on a profound level. Therefore, on some pieces, to focus on a mystery, I add additional colour in to my palette. 

The human form, particularly the female body, with its grace and complexity, serves as a profound muse in my paintings. I am fascinated by the ability of the female body to convey a myriad of emotions — strength, vulnerability, resilience and passion, each body hides a unique story. In my work, I strive to capture the essence of these emotions — the subtle nuances that make us human and to accept, appreciate and love what nature gifted us. 

I believe that art has the power to provoke, inspire, and challenge perceptions. Each piece I create, is a reflection of my thoughts, experiences, and a journey into the profound depths of the human psyche. I’m always looking to expand my skillset and exploring different techniques and pushing boundaries with my art. I am inspired by nature, from people around me and of course by other artists who have come before me. Painting has been an important part of my life, it is a way for me to express my feelings and connect with people through my art and a great way to learn more about myself too. I hope to continue learning and creating for many years to come.   

In addition to my passion for painting, I bring a graphic designer’s perspective to my work. It’s a seamless blend of structured design principles and the unrestrained expression of a painter’s soul.
